Surgery date: October 2019 Surgery method: natural adhesion upper canthoplasty Satisfaction: 3.5/5 Consultation with the head counselor: It was my first surgery, back when I was going around clueless and getting consultations from many places.. This was the third clinic on my list, and even though I had a reservation, I still had to wait a bit. Then I met the head counselor, and honestly it left a bad feeling. I don't remember clearly, but there were also some comments that put me down about my appearance ^^ and I felt a bit looked down on.. Doctor consultation: I had requested Dr. Do specifically, so I met Dr. Do right away. He seemed to prefer natural-looking eyes. When he designed the line, it was way too low, so I kept saying please raise it a little more, just a little more.. I said that three times to get the line I wanted, but at the end I asked once more if it could be raised a little more, and the doctor frowned slightly and tilted his head to one side, saying, Hmm... I don't think so, then the line would become too thick. Then, when I said that other clinics had recommended both incision and eye correction for my eyes, he said there was no need for incision, asked why I would do incision for a first surgery, said it could be done without incision, and that I would regret it later if I started with incision. He also said that while my eye-opening strength was a bit weak, it was not that weak, so eye correction was not necessary either. He told me to do it with buried sutures now and get an incision later when I got older. When I asked whether the fold might come undone, he said if it did, I would lose more. If it became a revision surgery, I would lose more, so he would make sure that would not happen. I trusted him a lot after that, so I decided here. In conclusion, the surgery turned out well. Honestly, no one can tell I had surgery; my eyes look insanely natural, but the fixation is a bit strong.... But the strong fixation is something only I can feel.. No one knows they are operated eyes... But I did not want such a natural look, so I am looking into revision surgery...
