Seems like I will go with buried sutures + upper canthoplasty. I also had a consultation for my nose, and they absolutely do not recommend unnecessary things. At another hospital, they said to use autologous costal cartilage for the first surgery, but the doctor said, "You are this young and this is your first surgery, so using autologous costal cartilage is really not right. Autologous costal cartilage is used when there is no material left at all." They said plastic surgery is supposed to lightly correct only the problematic parts from your original appearance, not just make everyone have big eyes and a pointy nose. They also said my face has many strengths already. I went on a weekday, so there were not many people there. I am torn between this and a hospital specializing in eyes, but since they seem to understand my needs and set the line well, I am thinking about doing it here. One thing I am hesitant about is the upper canthoplasty, because other hospitals did not even bring it up.. Anyway, there was no pressure, and they gave me all the pricing in writing so I could take it with me. At other hospitals they would not even let me take photos, but here they were just open!
