I regret having surgery here the most. I had quick zygoma surgery with my youngest aunt 7 years ago. I had a severe complex about my wide face shape, so I was looking into cheekbone surgery, and at that time many hospitals were heavily promoting quick zygoma. I was young and ignorant about surgery, and because the term quick zygoma kept sticking in my mind, it somehow felt like a surgery with good results, so I looked for a place with a discount event and came to Iwell. At first I had a consultation with the manager, and later with Director Park Beom-jin. After hearing that I came for the quick zygoma event and that my wide face shape was a complex for me, they said quick zygoma could solve it. There was basically no consultation to speak of, and since I had already gone there thinking about quick zygoma, it felt like, 'Quick zygoma, let's go.' I put down the deposit and my youngest aunt went with me, and we had the surgery together. I truly regret going through with that surgery. I saw absolutely no effect, not even 0.1%. For several years after the surgery, I think I rationalized it because I was young and thought a surgery that cost 2 million won was a major surgery. 'Maybe the bones are still healing, maybe the swelling hasn't gone down yet.' They made an incision near the temple, and after the surgery it took 5 years for hair to grow back there, and as time passed it just felt like I was throwing away money. My youngest aunt is still complaining about it. She keeps saying she suffered for nothing and didn't even get the benefit of the surgery. Today I went all over Gangnam to look into revision surgery, and after getting a CT scan and looking at the photos, the doctors all said the same thing: it was so hard to even tell that I had had surgery, and it was hard to tell where or what had been operated on, that it was basically the same as before surgery, that it would be fair to say it was just lightly poked or briefly touched or barely scraped. Hearing that, I couldn't help letting out a bitter laugh from sheer disbelief. I wondered if I was young, far away, and an easy target to make money from, and whether that's why they did such a sloppy job. There was absolutely no postoperative care, and I never even saw the chief doctor. They didn't even do a CT once to check whether the bone had fused properly. As time passed and I got older and looked into revision surgery, I realized and understood that this hospital was truly irresponsible. Thanks to them, my trust in plastic surgery has completely hit rock bottom. Just thinking of the hospital name makes me clench my teeth from how much I hate it.
