I was a student and it was surgery with my own money, so I didn’t know anything and went to the cheapest hospital my close older sister had used. Even after 7 months since the buried suture procedure, the swelling didn’t go down and it became a bigger double eyelid line, so when I went to another hospital they said I’d probably need revision surgery and that it was ptosis. So I thought I might as well just undo it, and I had it released again at the place I went to before. They said it would go back to how it was before.. but in the end the original double eyelid I used to have disappeared and the creases became even more numerous. When I went to another hospital, they said maybe tissue damage happened while releasing the buried suture. I live while doing eyelid tape every day ... honestly, having all the double eyelid gone is more natural.. Before, it was sausage-like and 9 out of 10 people said my impression changed completely and asked why I did it. If it’s about the eyes, do it at an eye specialty hospital... I’m not trying to say they should compensate me or anything like that. But I really want to turn back time.
