I had eye surgery (Lee Jung-min) and nose surgery (Choi Eun-gyu). The delay on the day was worse than expected. It was about an hour and a half late. I saw this doctor come in, and when I had my eye surgery they played music, gave anesthesia, and started. It seemed like the nurse was talking with him while the procedure was going on. Maybe I don't remember, but during my first eye surgery and this revision too, I think I opened my eyes about three times and have no memory. After the eye surgery and before the nose surgery, the nurses disinfected my whole face, the anesthesiology doctor came in and checked for allergies, and then I fell asleep. I didn't see Dr. Choi come in, and I didn't know it, but they said it was general anesthesia. Then I woke up in the recovery room! It's been a little under 2 weeks now, and for the eyes, since they did an incision along the same previous line, the line is the same, but there is scar tissue along the incision line. The swelling is going down quickly, so I think I'll need to watch the progress later. The disappointing part is that they seemed so busy that the follow-up check was very short, about 2 minutes? For the nose, there was far less bruising than I expected, and even after the splint was removed there was no mental breakdown. In fact, it was okay, so now I'm anxious that the tip might drop... Dr. Choi is straightforward and good, but the follow-up checks were also short, busy, and they had so many patients that they didn't remember the patient or the surgery details and had to check the chart again. The surgery time was roughly from 12:30, and after the prescription was issued I came out around 5:30! Pros - they consulted well, Dr. Choi gave me the nose line just like the photos I brought, they reflected my needs well (I didn't want osteotomy and that was reflected), both of them had relatively little swelling after surgery, the manager responded quickly before and after surgery, and there was almost no waiting except on the surgery day. Cons - when viewing the CCTV, I couldn't identify my own face or the doctor's face. The angle made it impossible to see anything, the follow-up check was short, and aftercare (scar tissue injections, swelling injections) was disappointing. In fact, the disappointing part was that the CCTV file was so large that it buffered badly and I had to skip around. That was a very important point for me, and I chose this place after excluding those involved in proxy-operation controversies, but it was so hard to tell that it felt meaningless. Since it's already done, there's nothing I can do! They gave me the nose line exactly as in the photo I brought, and if it stays like this I think I'll be very satisfied. As for the eyes, I hope the scar tissue and scar will loosen up, and I think I just need to keep watching the progress!
