I had scheduled the consultation for the morning, but the clinic changed the time twice, so I rescheduled to late afternoon and went, only to wait again. While waiting, I consulted with the director first. He looked extremely tired. When I told him I wanted this part of my eyes improved, he showed me that if I did front canthoplasty revision, my eyes would look like this, and if I did lateral-inferior canthoplasty, they would look like that. He did not give a detailed explanation of the surgical methods, and when he asked if I had any more questions, I said no and then left to get a quote with the manager. The consultation manager... I really got a strong feeling that they wanted me to hurry up, listen briefly, and leave. Maybe because it was almost time to clock out, I do not know. They really looked like they did not want to consult and were forcing themselves to do it. In all the consultations I have been to so far, this was the first time I experienced this kind of consultation. I was really so upset. Everything, from their tone to their behavior! So I really do not understand the consultation fee of 11,000 won. And the surgery cost... honestly, that is not really the important part because this would be a repeat revision. If it were a place with truly great skill and a truly good reputation, and if I felt trust after the consultation, I would consider it even if it were expensive. I want to stop being stressed by eye surgery any longer. But well... I wondered whether the amount at this hospital was even appropriate. Because this is a revision eye surgery and I came with a desperate heart, there is absolutely no way I would get surgery at a place that does not consider the patient's position at all and just treats the consultation carelessly and half-heartedly.
