I live in Chungcheong-do, but the reviews were so good that I traveled all the way to Daegu and just had the surgery there.. My philtrum was originally about 2 centimeters long, and I am not the type to research things in depth, so I had a consultation that same day and went straight into surgery that day. They said it would be good to shorten it by about 7 mm, and since I thought the expert would know best, I only had surgery on the inner side of the philtrum. I drove there, so I did not use sleep anesthesia and instead had local anesthesia, and strangely enough, I did not swell much at all.. neither on the day nor after surgery.. They said it was not a surgery that swells a lot to begin with.. It just felt like my philtrum became a little thicker. I do not usually scar badly, but since the philtrum moves a lot because you talk and eat, it seems that caused some scarring, so I had laser treatment first. It has been a month, and they told me to come back this week for a scar-tissue injection and laser treatment again. They said it was not a severe case of scarring compared with others.. In any case, the philtrum is much shorter, but because of the scar, it still does not feel clean yet.
