I had it done as a buried suture at Jinju Hyundai Plastic Surgery. I thought it was buried suture, but it wasn't. They fixed it by threading my eyes shut with very thick thread, leaving it in for a few days, then removing the thread and using the scar to hold it in place. It was done almost 3 years ago, and it turned out like a subtle double eyelid as I wanted, so I am satisfied with the result. But after surgery, when they removed the stitches, it hurt so, so much, and the lash lifting lasted for a month. I kept wondering for a long time whether I should undo it, and I spent nights in tears. It did go down after a month. Also, when I close my eyes, there is still a faint scar or hole from the needle passage that only I can notice, and I dislike that. Still, I heard buried suture usually comes undone easily, but mine did not and just became a subtle double eyelid, so I am satisfied. But if I were to choose again, even if they said the fixation would be shallow and easy to come undone, I would want to do it somewhere that is not painful.
