I did it in November 2020 (?) I brought over a review I wrote on Babitalk in 2020. My lips were too short horizontally compared to my face, so they looked small and pinched, and the corners were extremely downturned, giving a bad impression. There was also asymmetry, and I had a scar above my lips, so this was the clinic I chose after a lot, a lot of deliberation. Could this even be done with filler? Really? I hate surgery too... whining, whining... When I went in for the consultation, the director said... Director: Which part of your lips are you most concerned about? Me: My lips look too small and pinched.... lolololololololololol They explain the lips in incredibly detailed terms.. For me, whose corners of the mouth are naturally very downturned because of developed (?) muscles... they said I also needed corner exercises.. That was the exact diagnosis lol kiki. If you look at photos from when I was in elementary school, my mouth was already like :(. Ah lol. They said they'd support it with threads and botox too, but if that doesn't work, surgery would be needed to get the result I wanted. It really had the smell of expertise, and I trusted them endlessly, so even though it was originally just a consultation appointment, I ended up going for it that day. It was a procedure with a name like no-mes corner lip, and it hurt quite a lot.. honestly tears were streaming down.. Fortunately, I am very satisfied with the result. As of September 2023, the filler is still holding up nicely. There's no trace of my old tiny, pinched lips anymore. It feels like, is it really okay for it to still be like this? But as expected, people are creatures of habit, and I didn't really keep up with the corner exercises. It drooped again T_T I heard there's a new one called devil corner lips and I want to get it.. The price is ridiculously high for lip filler. But seeing that it still hasn't dissolved after 3 years, maybe it's justified after all, hehe?
