I went for a consultation about revision breast surgery, and even though I had scheduled it considering the wait time, the consultation happened right away with almost no waiting. When I asked why the hospital was so quiet, they said it only does breast surgery, and because the breasts are such a sensitive area, they schedule consultation times so that you don’t run into other patients as much as possible. I thought that was very private. The consultation with the coordinator was long overall. Once we started talking about breasts, all kinds of topics came up. The director handled the more specialized parts like body type. There was no pushing of implants, but since it was a revision, they did say Motiva is used a lot. Still, even with Motiva there was no extra revision fee, so it was the same amount listed on Babitalk. They said if the surgery fee is over 10 million won, one day of hospitalization is free. For the current area that looks like the cleavage is splitting open, they said it could be fixed by increasing the size and using a Motiva Demi implant. I had my first surgery through the armpit, and they said capsulectomy can also be done through the armpit the same way. When I said the side bulge from axillary accessory breast tissue was stressful, they said they could remove that at the same time as the breast surgery, and showed me a comparison of having the accessory breast tissue removed versus only the breast done; the one done together was clearly better. I liked that there was no pressure for surgery or booking, and no consultation fee. It also had a good reputation in surgery communities, and there was a reason. They also give you all the post-op supplies, so there were no extra costs besides the surgery fee and medicine. I haven’t had the surgery yet, so I don’t know for sure, but if you’re looking into breast surgery, going for a consultation once seems like it would make the comparison much clearer.
