I had it done about 10 years ago, and I've been under a lot of stress about my eyes for the past 10 years. In some ways, they were eyes that I could have lived with as they were, but every time I took a photo, I saw my left eye become like a sausage and my right eye become crooked, so I felt like my eyes were a failed case. Unless I looked in a mirror or at photos, I didn't know how I looked, so maybe I just lived on, but actually to others it was obviously the eye of someone who had double-eyelid surgery. I was busy with life and not really the type to be very sensitive, so even though I had complaints, I just let it be and lived with it, but once I realized 10 years had passed, I decided I needed to do something, and that's how I joined this community. It's not like the eyelids are insanely thick sausage-like ones or that the scar is severe or anything... but now that I'm older, I realize the doctor probably lacked a lot of skill. Personally, I hope anyone getting their first surgery researches the hospital very carefully and looks up reviews thoroughly. I regret it for the rest of my life.....
