I couldn't consult with the doctor, but I did consult with the manager. When I was first guided at the front desk, it just felt like a very businesslike hospital, but after the consultation with the manager I felt better. At other hospitals, they would look at the area that was my complex and say things like, 'Oh... it's really big,' then keep saying I needed this and that, making me feel awful and hurting my pride. Here, there was none of that; they explained things kindly and felt like they were thinking through the options with me, saying there is this method and that method too, which I appreciated. They even cared up until just before I left the hospital, so I decided right away. I'll come back with a post-op review later!
