My natural eyes had Mongolian folds, so I had surgery here because they said they could create that fold. For inner canthoplasty revision, they said they do not use the commonly used VY or Z techniques and avoid them. I don't know about others, but they did not do internal reconstruction for me. If so, the eye looks like a gaping hole from the side. So I'm thinking of going to another clinic for internal reconstruction and to remove the Mongolian fold. And for people who want a Mongolian fold, please don't ask them to make you look like me. It's artificial, and please don't think it can ever look exactly like it did before.
