They said they would use the septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and if that was not enough, donor rib cartilage. They can also recreate what the CT scan looks like in a 3D form, so you can roughly see the result after surgery. It felt less like they were being kind and more like they were trying to explain things thoroughly as medical professionals. What was disappointing was that they did not give advance notice about something that could make me dissatisfied after surgery (scar tissue), and they only answered after I asked about it.
