I got Thermage, and there was some waiting, but the coordinator was fairly kind. (It would have been better if she hadn't commented on things she wasn't certain about.) The surgeon was extremely thorough, checking the pain level repeatedly throughout the procedure. The procedure itself hurt a bit, but because they were so attentive, it was manageable, and they explained a lot of things so I could get the treatment comfortably.
