I had double eyelid surgery. They were kind, and since I exaggerate everything, even when I said random things they joked around and took good care of me. The bruising went away really quickly, and the swelling - the major swelling - went down fast, but the minor swelling lasted about a year. I think that is just how it is with double eyelid surgery. The only thing is that the double eyelid line ended up a bit shorter than my eye.
