I regret not having the surgery at this hospital. Because this was a revision surgery, the doctor started the consultation by lowering expectations, but after some time I realized that what he said was 100 percent correct. I went to another hospital believing their talk that scars or anything else could all be improved and that they would match things as much as possible, but with time you realize that there is no such thing as 100 percent improvement in revision surgery. The scar from double-line fixation does in fact mean twice as many new scars, and this doctor was a thousand times right that fat grafting has more side effects and more to lose. This was a hospital I chose on a recommendation from an acquaintance, so I went elsewhere instead. I wish the director here had accepted me.
