I have a nose with a retracted columella and drooping alae. At another clinic I was diagnosed with a wide nasal tip and told I needed septal extension grafting. Because septal extension surgery felt too burdensome, I had been going around to other clinics for consultations, and then I consulted with Director Hwang Se-hui at Sain. First, when you go into the consultation room, the director carefully examines your nose and draws on it ㅋㅋ. Then the director talked about preserving the nose’s original structure and stability as much as possible, using a surgical method that was not septal extension grafting, while mentioning vector concepts and such. In my case, because I’m still young, they said it would be fine not to go for a big surgery, and that a simple closed approach with ear cartilage grafting to lower the columella and correct the alae would be enough. I was a little impressed by the director’s honesty, how they pointed out only the necessary parts, and the approach that considered stability and the long term, so I booked surgery right away. I’ll post a review with photos after the surgery~ I think this is a clinic worth consulting at least once, whether it’s your first surgery or a revision.
