I had a lateral canthoplasty, and overall I’m fairly satisfied. I went in expecting it might not have much effect because I really have deeply set eyes, and the director also said it wouldn’t have a very big effect, which made me trust it more. So the before and after isn’t dramatically different, but there is a difference. They said this surgery doesn’t involve cutting the mucous membrane open, widening it, and stitching it up or anything like that, so it wouldn't cause functional problems, and that really seems to be true?! Before and after, my eyes don't sting and the functional part is the same. The stinging also went away after about 3 days. It’s only day 8 now, so once the swelling goes down I think the effect will show more. Right now the swelling above and below the outer corners is covering the result a bit, so I’m looking forward to it. There’s no discount on the surgery fee just for writing a review, but they do give you a 100,000 won department store gift certificate if you write one. What I liked more here was that at other places they say they’ll Photoshop your photos and tell you to post them, but here they didn’t do anything like that. I just posted it however I wanted.
