I went for a consultation about a cleft lip and palate nose. The hospital interior is very luxurious. I looked it up online and the doctor is not a plastic surgeon specialist, but an otolaryngology specialist who also does nose plastic surgery. Dr. J.D.H. seemed to perform rather aggressive procedures, and I had been told several times at other hospitals that it couldn’t be done, but here they said it was definitely possible, which made me suspicious. Because the method seemed so aggressive, the scarring, recovery time, and risks all looked large, so I ended up having it done elsewhere. After the consultation, I spoke with the manager about the estimate and the surgery, and the manager talked a lot about money and kept saying it would definitely go well, staring straight at me. My eye correction was overcorrected, which felt uncomfortable, and I started to think this hospital was suspicious.
