I had surgery quite a while ago. I was satisfied at the time of surgery, and I still live without side effects and am satisfied. Back then they were so safety-conscious that, for facial contouring, they didn't touch the chin at all and just shaved it like a postauricular square jaw, so I thought that was a pity. Still, it was effective compared with not having it done, and looking back after some time, I'm glad it didn't turn into an overdone chin. Since they didn't touch the front chin, when I touch my jaw it all feels like my own jaw, and there is a shape where the muscles and bones attached to the jaw of someone who had surgery and someone who didn't are different, but mine matches the person who didn't have surgery. No one would know I altered my face shape, not even plastic surgeons. The only regret is that after that I got lazy and have been living all this time without removing the screws in my cheekbones, so it's awkward when I get dental treatment. And since they said they couldn't adjust the angle of my originally asymmetrical jaw because my jaw was too short, I'm living with natural asymmetry, but other people don't seem to notice much.
