If you have rhinitis, there’s no need to go for a consultation. On the consultation form I wrote that after my first surgery I developed left-side nasal blockage and rhinitis, and asked whether it could be improved with a revision surgery. The doctor acted completely condescendingly. Do you even know what rhinitis means? Rhinitis is a word doctors use, not patients. If you write something like that on the consultation form, who would want to get surgery out of fear? I can’t do that. He was so high-handed, saying he would only continue the consultation today if I wrote on the form that I would not care about rhinitis after surgery. I thought the time I waited was wasted, so I wrote it and continued the consultation, but there was nothing special. I was disappointed by how defensive the doctor was.
