I had surgery in the winter of 2016. Because I am male, the doctor recommended a non-incisional procedure, so I had it done that way. After the surgery, I was able to go back outside and live normally from a week later, and the crease turned out really beautiful. But around the summer of 2019, one eye started to loosen, and then the other eye also loosened. A lot of boys I knew in the area had surgery for a slight double eyelid, and all of them had incisional surgery. They said that for men, non-incisional surgery tends to loosen easily, and that was what their own surgeons told them. A relative also told me that I should have gone with incisional instead of non-incisional, so I don't know why Dr. Park Seon-jae recommended non-incisional knowing it would likely loosen. When I called the hospital in 2019, the revision period had already passed, so they said they wouldn't do a revision. I've put it off until now, but I'm thinking of going to another hospital and getting a revision with the incisional method.
