I had eye correction surgery and buried suture double eyelid surgery done around December 2016. To get to the point, I do not recommend it. Maybe because it was buried suture, the surgery time was very short, the swelling was almost nonexistent, and it was really, really natural... but maybe because it was buried suture, my double eyelids are now starting to loosenㅠㅠ Also, on the day of surgery, before going in, I did not have time to talk with the doctor about my eyes. I went straight onto the operating table without changing into a surgical gown.. (I remember being very uncomfortable because I had worn a hoodie that day.) So I basically shouted, “Please just don’t make me look like a sausage!!” and went ahead with the surgery.. Even now, I’m really taken aback and baffled Later I found out that this doctor only does buried-suture + eye correction surgeries. It was done under local anesthesia, so the risk of phantom-doctor surgery is zero, and it really does create a very natural double eyelid. My friend had it done there because mine looked so natural that she liked it. If you want an extremely natural and thin double eyelid, I would recommend it.
