I consulted with Director Ban Jae-sang 4-5 years ago. The cost may be wrong since it was a long time ago. I visited after being introduced by my parents’ acquaintance, and I was surprised that there were a lot of foreigners at the time. I worried it might be a factory-style clinic, but since I had been referred there, I had expectations. The manager was kind. The director looked at my eyes and, with confidence, said they were an easy case for surgery, then ended the consultation without saying much and without designing a line. It was my first clinic visit, so I think I came out without being able to say anything, and I wanted to know what kind of line he had in mind, so I went back. But when I returned, it seemed the director’s pride had been scratched. It was the first time in my twenties that I had heard such harsh words, so I still remember it. He said that for surgery to go well, a doctor has to be thought of as a 'god' and there has to be absolute 'trust,' but with such an indecisive personality, you won’t be able to do anything no matter what you try. I was so shocked that I teared up right there, and then he said that if I was going to react like that, then he also wouldn’t want to operate with a red face. So I canceled the surgery reservation. The manager comforted me. Even if someone is good at surgery, I think there are plenty of good doctors out there. I didn’t want surgery from a doctor who would personally attack a twenty-year-old student like that. I had posted a review on a Naver cafe at the time, and it got deleted.
