I had my first surgery in February 2021 using autologous costal cartilage, and as a result the tip of my nose has drooped, so I am looking into revision surgery. Because I did not have enough septal cartilage, I was told that if I wanted to raise the tip of my nose, I should use sturdy autologous rib cartilage so the tip would not droop and I would not need revision surgery, so I decided on that. On the day of surgery, I was told that because I had a recessed chin, it seemed like an implant would be needed to match the nose and the line, so I had an implant done that day too, but... in the end I was not satisfied with that eitherㅠ The line was not pretty at all, and because I had little surgical experience, it felt like they were testing it on my face. After surgery, as the swelling started to go down, the tip of my nose kept sinking, and over the course of 3 years it kept dropping so much that a hollow line formed in the middle of my nose, with a severe step between the tip of the nose and the silicone implant. I consulted several times, but they only kept saying I would need a crown procedure to lower the silicone height and add ear cartilage, and they never gave a precise diagnosis, so I lost trust. Over those 3 years, many of the nurses and medical staff changed, and seeing an inexperienced male nurse awkwardly giving injections made me decide I would not have revision surgery here... It feels like they lost their original intention.
