코비쥬코 재수술Nose SurgeryOverall: 4.0/5

At first glance, it seems like they operate in a very, very natural direction. Most of the patients here seemed to be revision cases, and the next largest group seemed to be functional nose surgery. There seemed to be fewer patients who were having surgery purely for cosmetic reasons. I guess that might be because the doctor is an otolaryngology specialist. The advantages are: 1. Extremely natural results (the nasal tip and bridge both have round lines. It seems like they operate in a way that preserves about 80% of your original nose shape while improving the flaws. Honestly, I have a really good eye for this, and there were quite a few cases where, unless I saw the before photos, I would have thought, that must just be how their nose naturally looked.) 2. Insurance reimbursement can be partly covered (since the doctor is an otolaryngology specialist, if you have a deviated septum or rhinitis and have those treated together, some reimbursement is possible.. most people seem to have at least one of those.) 3. This is the biggest advantage, and the reason I would do it here: there is a 3-year after-service guarantee. This time it was a revision for me, so I was especially careful about this in case I might need another revision. They said that if you pay the anesthesia fee of 300,000 to 500,000 won, you can have another revision within 3 years. 4. The surgery is recorded on CCTV, so a guardian can watch during the operation. (No risk of ghost doctor situations or surrogate surgery.) 5. This clinic does only noses. Personally, doctors who specialize in just one area feel more professional to me.. Maybe that is because I got surgery from doctors who do many different things and ended up needing a revision. There are many doctors who do multiple procedures, but in the end everyone still has a defined specialty.. 6. They specialize in revision rhinoplasty. I feel revision surgery is much more difficult, so the fact that they specialize in revisions gave me confidence. In particular, I know contracture noses are really hard to treat, but they seemed to do a lot of those. 7. They have a large number of patients. They said they have done about 10,000 costal cartilage surgeries.. I think having a lot of cases is absolutely not something to ignore. 8. They perform costal cartilage surgery. When you look elsewhere, there are many places that recommend ear cartilage surgery or silicone implants.. even for revision cases.. I wanted a surgery without an implant and with costal cartilage, (because implants and ear cartilage can bring a lot of side effects and nose shape distortion; I am speaking from experience ㅠ) so I looked for a clinic that specializes in those kinds of surgeries. They seemed to do those surgeries a lot here, and since they recommended costal cartilage, I decided to go here. (Other clinics related to nose revision mostly recommended silicone replacement or ear cartilage only.. I was originally only considering costal cartilage..) On the other hand, if you are going with silicone or ear cartilage, that is much easier and cheaper than costal cartilage.. Anyway, I recommend getting a consultation first, because there are noses that are still sufficient even with that level of treatment.. Disadvantages 1. The doctor seems to have a very firm idea of what a pretty nose should look like. (For me, a natural nose was the top priority, so that was a big advantage, but if you want a glamorous nose, that could be a disadvantage.) It felt like the doctor already had a complete roadmap in mind for how to improve this nose, and depending on the patient, that could be an advantage or a disadvantage. If it matches, it is an advantage; if not, it is a disadvantage. I think it is right to come for a consultation, see the actual surgical cases, and decide. If you look at the before-and-after photos, it seems like they mostly prefer a nose line that, from the side, does not have a very high bridge but lifts the tip a lot, like a slightly upturned line. If you say, “Please make it pretty however you want,” I think you will 100% get that kind of nose. If you want a high bridge or a straight nose, you need to make that very clear during the consultation. They also make the line under the nasal tip and columella very round, so if you do not like that, I would recommend another clinic. I liked it because it was natural. If you want a glamorous-looking nose and are 100% pursuing cosmetic goals, you should consult other places too. If you want a nose that makes you look like a completely different person after being reborn, this place may not suit you. If you want to keep some of your original nose shape while improving the flaws naturally, it should be fine. Once you consult, you will get a feel for it. The doctor shows a lot of photos. Other points I never got the impression that they recommended unnecessary surgery. I was told they would do osteotomy if it was needed, but since my case involved a severely deviated septum, it could not be helped, and they absolutely did not push for an unnecessary osteotomy. From what I heard, this is not a system where extra money gets added depending on the details. The price just changes depending on whether it is a costal cartilage surgery or an ear cartilage surgery.. It did not seem like they make more money by adding procedures like osteotomy or septoplasty and so on. (From other reviews, I saw cases where the price went up by 100,000s to several 100,000s, so in high-difficulty cases there might be some additional cost..?) In any case, they seem to recommend only the parts they judge to be necessary. The same goes for alar reduction surgery.. I thought my nostrils were wide, so I naturally planned to have them reduced, but they surprisingly told me not to reduce them.. So if the doctor tells you to reduce your nostrils, I really recommend doing it ㅋㅋ In those cases, your nostrils are truly big.. ㅋㅋ Anyway, I was satisfied overall, and I liked the consultation result. If you visit, they show you a lot of photos. Especially the columella and side profile seem to come out quite similarly, so you can decide based on the photos. I recommend a consultation, especially for revision patients who value stability. If you have rhinitis or a deviated septum and also hope to improve the shape of your nose through that opportunity(?), functional nose surgery could be good too. In that case, since the doctor is an otolaryngology specialist, being able to claim reimbursement through private insurance is a huge benefit. I recommend at least one consultation. Oh, and for reference, there are no ads or discounts at all. There is only a same-day booking discount. Roughly about 10%? Honestly, even if it is expensive and there are no discounts, I thought that seemed more trustworthy than places that run tons of ads, do cheap promo pricing, or bundle everything together, but I think people will have different opinions. The price is on the expensive side compared with other places, so keep that in mind!
