I left a review right after surgery, and now it’s almost been 3 months so I’m leaving another one. The S-shaped curve in my nose was made into a straight line, and they made a pretty good straight profile, so if I posted photos everyone would probably praise it, but I haven’t posted a photo review yet because my nose still feels blocked. I’ve had a deviated septum, so I’ve lived my whole life breathing through one nostril. They cauterized the inferior turbinate with radiofrequency, and my nose still feels dry inside, and I still don’t have that fully open feeling, so I think I need to keep watching the functional improvement. However, the nose design seems to have been brought to the best possible result from my original nose. They straightened my crooked nose and nicely made the blunt nose look slimmer into a straight line. They lifted with ear fascia, so it became naturally higher. For someone whose bridge is extremely low, an implant would probably be better, but for someone whose bridge isn’t absent or someone who likes a natural look, ear fascia seems fine. I met two acquaintances within a week, and both complimented me on how naturally pretty I looked. After surgery there was almost no blood and no bruising at all, and even though I had an osteotomy, it really didn’t hurt much. I had worried about the pain from the osteotomy and put off nose surgery for so long, but if I had known it wouldn’t hurt this much, I should have done it sooner. I was disappointed. If you get surgery from a director who is good at operating, it seems like there isn’t much pain either. The runny nose and the blood crusts inside the nose were the real torment. Leaving design and function aside, the director really does seem to be excellent at surgery itself. There are many reviews saying the director has good hand technique, and it’s true. I didn’t bruise at all. At the first consultation, the director wasn’t the type to explain everything in great detail, and the chief manager also wasn’t especially friendly, so I hesitated a bit, but I chose them because of the surgery review photos and the director’s somewhat scholarly vibe, and I think I made a good choice. The operation itself could be watched live on TV by the guardian, which was reassuring and nice. If you bring photos of the line you like and the line you dislike and show them to the director, I think you can get a reasonably satisfying result. Everyone who likes a natural look, just do it here, there’s really no way it’ll turn out badly. Once my nose is fully open, I’ll post photos.
