The surgery involves putting the fat that protrudes between the aegyo-sal and the groove under the eyes back into its original place and reinforcing the septum so it won't protrude again. Because it is not a surgery that makes an incision under the lower front cheek and spreads the fat, you may instead feel that the front area is sunken after surgery. To compensate for that feeling, fat grafting is added, and it is a separate procedure from under-eye fat repositioning. (For women, adding fat may be recommended, but for men, is it really necessary?)
