This was the first clinic I went to for my eye surgery last year, and I was so disappointed (doctor Bㅅㅈ). The manager also somehow had an annoying attitude and didn’t feel kind at all. As soon as the doctor saw me, maybe because I had come with my parents or because I didn’t look very old, he talked informally and said things like “you~,” which made me feel bad. He also talked a lot about things that were unnecessary for the consultation, like how his friend’s daughter was entering medical school this time and would be getting treatment from him. As someone undergoing surgery, I think it’s only natural to be sensitive about side effects, but when I asked about the side effects of eye correction, he said he had been top of the class at Seoul National University Medical School and fully understood eyes, and that eye correction was absolutely necessary, and that people like me who had low wisdom were the ones saying such things, which made me so angry. No matter how good the surgery may be, I don’t think I’ll ever have surgery here.
