My first surgery was natural and had a subtle double-eyelid look, and I liked everything about it, but the front canthoplasty made my eyes look a bit cramped, so I had revision surgery. Originally I only went in planning to do the front canthoplasty, but the director said the line was covered a lot, so we needed to uncover it and raise the line more for my eyes to look bigger, so I ended up doing incisional double eyelid surgery + front canthoplasty. They were really kind and responded with smiles, so I didn't feel any awkwardness at the clinic at all. However, when I close my eyes there is a sunken scar, and it gives a slight sausage-like look, so I'm looking into a second revision. A big double eyelid doesn't suit my face either. The front canthoplasty was cut in so much that the pupil area doesn't close completely, and I ended up with dry eye. At first I didn't even realize that was the reason, and I requested aftercare asking them to open the side that had less front canthoplasty a bit more, lol. The director said doing any more here would be too much, and that because the difference was so minor there was no need to touch it again, so that was at least a relief. Anyway, after having surgery in 2018 and living with dry eyes all this time, I finally decided I couldn't go on like this and chose to get a second revision.
