When I was 20, I knew nothing and had a nose surgery consultation and surgery on the same day. I was too young and ignorant, and I did not even know there were hospitals specializing in nose surgery, so when they said it was possible, I just assumed that was how it was and went ahead. Looking back now, they specialize in fat grafting. I remember that even back then, they said to put in silicone now and fill with fat 1 to 2 years later. They inserted a large L-shaped silicone implant, but I am a woman with a not-particularly-large face, so it did not suit my face at all, and for 2 years I heard things like it looked very obviously done and my nose was too big. Because of the fear of complications and the stress, I had revision surgery. During the revision consultation, the doctors said the silicone seemed to have been inserted asymmetrically, and that the cartilage had been crushed because of the silicone, so even after revision it did not improve, but I am not sure whether that part was due to the revision surgeon's skill.
