I went with my mom and aunt for a consultation about middle-aged eye surgery. First of all, they seem conservative, but they do seem to speak honestly. When my aunt brought up canthoplasty, they said the eyes should only be looked at functionally and did not really recommend it. They also only recommended upper brow lift on the outer side for my mom, and only forehead lift for my aunt. Even when I brought up other areas, they seemed firm and did not recommend them. In one way that feels honest, but in another way it comes across as very conservative. It also does not feel extremely kind or extremely rude, more like somewhere in between. I could not see the doctor for forehead lifting because he was busy.
