I went for a revision rhinoplasty consultation after watching YouTube, and ended up having surgery there too, and the director was exactly the same as in the videos. He talks a lot, but he speaks only in facts, so it is his style to make everything clear and not confusing. Not many people use costal cartilage in the first surgery, so there were not many reviews at other hospitals about removing costal cartilage in a revision surgery like I was doing, which worried me a lot. But before I even had a chance to talk about my worries, the director explained that part first, so I did not have much to ask. It was standard for him to explain whether costal cartilage removal is possible, how the shape or line would change after removal, and what new material should be used, and he even ran some kind of program on the monitor and showed me a virtual post-op version of my face. The line he showed me then and my current nose after surgery really seem similar. By my standards, the cost was not cheap, but it was worth it and I am satisfied.
