During the consultation, the director didn't just blindly start by drawing a line. Instead, they asked me again what exactly my concern was, or what part I wanted improved, and listened to me directly, which I liked. Usually everything gets said during the manager consultation, so this part gets skipped, but I liked that they checked it themselves... They kept asking whether there was anything else I wanted to know or anything I didn't understand, and they kept asking about the line too, like whether this was okay and how they would adjust it, so there was a lot of back-and-forth, which I think I liked.
