However, the recovery period is quite long and it affects daily life. I was told that conjunctival edema occurs in almost every case, but mine was quite severe and lasted a long time, so even after the stitches were removed, my eyes would not close for a while because of the swelling. Bruising and swelling were also not minor. I think this part really varies from person to person. Other than that, I am very satisfied in every respect. It has been about a year since the surgery, and there are no particular side effects. I may not notice dry eye because mine was already severe. It was the second surgery of my life, and the first one I had gone to with my parents, while this was my first surgery on my own, so I was very nervous despite how quickly everything was done, but the surgeon was very friendly and had a fatherly impression, which gave me a lot of emotional comfort. Even considering the pain during recovery, it is a surgery I would choose again if I went back, because I am that satisfied.
