I searched around and the reviews for Director Park Si-hyeon looked decent, so I went ahead. But I'm still unsure. The reviews I saw all seemed somehow edited, and it's only been a short time since the procedure, so I have to watch the outcome for now. For now, the director was kind. On my first consultation visit, I didn't get the feeling that it was a factory or that there were a lot of foreigners, so I made the reservation. The reservation deposit, the coordinator, and the manager didn't really bother me. The personality was fine. The director seems straightforward, but personality and skill aren't related, right? On the day of surgery, there were a ton of people. Not the manager, but the staff were truly terrible. I was paying the money, so were they trying to pick a fight? I almost lost my temper there, but I held back because I was afraid my eyes would end up ruined instead. Thinking about it again makes me angry. Then I changed clothes and went into the operating room. They showed the pre-op precautions video in the changing room, and that felt tacky. (This was where I started laughing a little and the trust level began dropping.) I wondered whether the hospital I used for my first eye surgery was just good, or whether this place was just poorly equipped... The operating room was tiny. It just felt like a procedure room for Botox injections. The recovery room too: the hospital where I had my first surgery had actual beds and was really a recovery room, but here I recovered on a sofa chair? A reclining sofa. Then after some basic ice packs and time passing, they told me to go home. They said there was an anesthesiologist, so that was reassuring, but I don't know whether the person who gave me anesthesia was that doctor. (There was no way for me to check.) Conclusion: factory-style, the staff are really awful, the facilities are poor (tacky in my view), the price seems decent if you write a review about it, it seems to have a lot of foreigners, and they emphasize aftercare and all that, but the aftercare isn't good.
