I went in for a consultation because my buried sutures had come undone twice, and they explained in detail the principle behind why buried sutures come undone, then recommended incisional surgery. It was good that they explained the surgical principles and methods well, but they did not look at my eyes for very long and did not really try to mark the line. They just explained the revision method and the parts I wanted to slightly adjust, and that was it. I talked longer with the consultant, and I liked that they showed me a lot of different surgery reviews. At first the consultant and I were going to only re-stitch the loosened side with buried sutures, but later when I said I wanted to do incision on both sides as the doctor recommended, they tried to stop me once, which was a little unexpected. I had made a consultation appointment, but the doctor was in surgery, I guess, so I waited about 20 minutes.
