Eye Surgery review at Jio (지오) · 2022-05-17

First of all, this surgery was 7 years ago now, so I don't really remember the cost, and it may be a little different from now. At the time, I had scar tissue from a lateral canthoplasty and my eyes were irritated, so I was looking into revision surgery for the lateral canthoplasty. It wasn't this community, but I searched cafes here and there, went to this place and one other hospital, and I remember choosing this one. Among the hospitals I went to, the director, the manager, and the staff were all among the kindest. I don't know if the surgery was under local anesthesia or what, but I remembered everything during surgery, and if I said it hurt, they gave me more anesthetic injections... I was scared because I could hear the sounds, but I think it was better than being unconscious lol. The surgery result got rid of all the scars. In fact, I can't go back to my old eyes. I heard that during a lateral canthoplasty they trim the outer corner while cutting away tissue. Then that tissue is gone, so when they reattach it, it has no choice but to become a little shorter than before.... Too much of a good thing, so after doing a lateral canthoplasty I ended up losing more. Anyway, I'm glad I did it because the scars are gone and I don't have to avoid people's eyes anymore. For lateral canthoplasty revision, the scar at the outer corner where it was stitched is the important part; at first it showed a little white and stood out, but now it has faded a lot and is hard to see. I'm satisfied~
