It's been 6 months since my epicanthoplasty. I didn't have any of the so-called D-shaped widening side effects, and the eye-smile looks natural too. At first they lower the outer corner of the eye a lot as an overcorrection, but after about 3 months it rises more than expected and becomes really natural. Still, I do feel a little disappointed that it seems to have risen too much and I wish it had gone down just a bit more. But the best plastic surgery is one that makes you prettier without looking obvious, so I'm satisfied.
