Eye Surgery review at Jio (지오) · Lateral canthoplasty · 2024-08-29

I had my canthoplasty in 2018. It has already been 6 years. It has been so long that I am fuzzy on whether this was the right price or not.. I searched all over for canthoplasty options, and back then most procedures still directly cut the eye corner for the outer canthoplasty, so there were not many places that did it without cutting the corner. Among the canthoplasty methods that do not cut the corner, this was the clinic I trusted the most, so I chose it. They explained the procedure in detail, which made me trust them. Because it was a surgery that does not cut the eye corner, there were no visible side effects like the common corner-formed D-shape change or scar tissue, but they said there could be a side effect of pulling around the outer corner muscles, and I did not get that side effect either. However, I did develop a very slight dry-eye symptom, though not severe. It is still ongoing. But I think that is less the clinic’s mistake and more a side effect that would likely happen after canthoplasty no matter what method or clinic was used. And about 6 months after surgery, once all the swelling was gone, it was the most open and prettiest, but after that it gradually returned to my original eyes, and now it has come back about 90%? (An acquaintance had it done here too and almost completely went back like me, though the impression changed just a little.) Still, since it only changed the impression very slightly and I am getting older anyway so the outer corners droop more now.. even though I regret that there is no longer the dramatic change I had at the 6-month point, I am living while satisfied with the natural look. I have always preferred natural-looking cosmetic surgery. So if you want a sharp lower canthoplasty or outer canthoplasty, a dramatic change, perfect correction of flaws, or a glamorous beauty result, this may not suit you.
