The goal was not simply to create a double eyelid, but to make the overall eye shape look beautiful. They showed old photos from 10 to 20 years ago and showed bad before-and-afters where people only focused on creating a double eyelid and ended up ruining it. The people had become natural and pretty, but the before-and-after photos were too old, so it was disappointing that I couldn’t see recent before-and-after photos. In the end, 5-hour surgery under local anesthesia Incision recommended: I was told that with buried sutures, it could end up being an eye with sagging eye skin settling down. The director seems to have an aesthetic sense, but it’s a surgery that touches too much, so if it goes badly it feels like something functionally could go very wrong, and I don’t want ptosis correction anyway, so I’m passing on this one for now. Still, it was good to understand the overall explanation of my eyes and why incision would suit me better than buried sutures.
