Before nose surgery, I didn’t have much of a nasal bridge and I had a bit of a bulbous nose, so it looked low even from the side. It was more for cosmetic purposes than functional ones... I thought that if I made it too high, contracture might happen later, so I asked for an L-shaped silicone implant with a semi-scooped line that suited my face. My nose became higher, but it doesn’t really look obviously operated on, so now that it’s been almost 3 years, I’m very satisfied. But recently, when I naturally use my facial muscles, like when smiling or scrunching my nose, in certain expressions my columella area feels tight, and if I press it slightly, there’s a tingling pain. I joined because I was curious about that.
