Since I was young, my hump nose stressed me out so much that even when I knew nothing about plastic surgery, I vaguely thought I wanted to get nose surgery (My nose was a humped, thin, small nose, and the nostrils showed well as pointy triangles, like a dragon nose..)

Review of the hospital Pros They are kind (the reception staff were really kind, the manager listened to every single thing I wanted and explained everything, and what I felt when I saw the director was that I really liked how they tried to prioritize the patient’s needs as much as possible) The interior is comfortable. I liked that the colors didn’t make it feel burdensome or pressuring like a hospital. I often asked the newly assigned(?) manager questions through KakaoTalk, and they replied quickly and explained even small details thoroughly and kindly. Cons In the middle, without any notice or warning, the manager in charge quit and contact was cut off. At that time there was no proper guidance, so communication was difficult. After surgery, I was out of it and lost my mask, so I asked for just one mask. I don’t know if the person on the 7th floor was a nurse or just in a guidance role, but they made me feel like a criminal. My mother also said she didn’t like their attitude. They were different from the reception staff on the 8th floor.
Surgery review Right after surgery, maybe because I was intubated, my throat hurt a lot. On the first and second days, my nose and throat hurt and I had a headache too. For swelling, after about two weeks the facial swelling was almost unnoticeable and bruising was not visible. Nose swelling was visibly swollen for about a month. For about a month, I had a lot of runny nose, discharge, and blood. When they pressed to check whether the nose was placed well, it hurt a little, but anyway, if I didn’t touch it, it didn’t hurt. Sometimes the nasal tip stings and hurts even when it doesn’t touch anything, but they said that can happen. When sleeping on my side, the spot where the ear cartilage was harvested hurt. I couldn’t sleep on my side for a little over a month.. When I sneezed before the splint was removed, it hurt to death. I even couldn’t laugh easily. Coughing hurt too, but sneezing was the worst.
*There is no separate aftercare for reducing swelling such as swelling injections or anything else. However, I visited to get antibiotics. *The 7th and 8th floors are confusing the first time you go. *Even if you make a reservation, you may wait a little, so it seems good to go a bit early so you can be seen sooner.
Satisfaction It’s not that I lacked confidence in life because my face was ugly, but because of my nose, I tended not to look at myself from the side in the mirror and disliked when others took photos of me. Now I don’t really mind. I look in the mirror really often, and when I look at my nose I feel so good. I had almost no pain, and honestly I wasn’t even a case that managed things that well, but it turned out well without side effects or severe swelling, so I’m very, very satisfied and I really strongly recommend nose surgery to people around me..!!
