I’m truly the worst in the world at making decisions, so I’m still deciding among a few places, but I thought this might help..! And people who had it done here probably won’t see this post.. but if you happen to see it, please leave a review.. haha
1. ㄹㄹ My friend had double-chin liposuction here and was satisfied, so I went. It was the cheapest among the places I visited. No ultrasound They said if I only liposuction the lower area, my cheekbones could look more prominent, so I should liposuction up to the lateral cheekbones too. I was a bit taken aback, but even adding that, it was still cheap, so I just said okay. They said thread lifting would also be good, but also said I didn’t have to do it, so I skipped it. The doctor is a bit chic/cool.. haha Actually I’m more concerned about my jawline than my double chin, but my friend didn’t do that line, so I was unsure. I saw quite a few reviews that felt like broker posts, but I barely saw any real reviews, so I put it on hold..
2. ㅈㅇ It seemed famous in this community, so I went once. There were quite a lot of people. They checked with ultrasound! The doctor here was also chic/cool,, and I have a slight peanut-shaped face vibe, so I wanted fat grafting there, but they told me not to do it. I wanted chin fat grafting too, but they discouraged that as well, though they said if I dissolve the filler and come back, we could do it. The website reviews are my style, but the reviews the doctor showed me didn’t look that dramatic, so I’m torn. Still, it’s one of the clinics that feels the safest, so I’m debating between here and another place!
3. ㄱㅇ The doctor is from ㅇㅇㅌ, and I went after seeing blog reviews. (But this person also posts photos on Gangnam Unni and Bbtalk, so I did wonder if it might be a bit broker-ish..) Free CT! The previous surgery took a little longer, so I had to wait, but it’s okay... If the skill is good, I can wait haha Among the doctors I saw, this one explained things the most meticulously and sincerely, so I really liked that part. I genuinely got the feeling that they cared about the patient. I liked that the aftercare seemed good. Here too, they didn’t recommend chin fat grafting, and the reason was that it wouldn’t create a sharp filler-like shape. I said from the start I didn’t want it sharp; I wanted to get rid of the retruded-chin look, remove the filler, and just have a more natural chin, and then they said okay. They said lateral cheek fat grafting wasn’t necessarily needed and that the engraftment rate is low, but if I wanted it, it would probably be fine to put in just a tiny amount. They also said thread lifting would be good, but when I said I didn’t want it, they said I didn’t have to, but to wear the compression garment well instead. The price is the highest. There aren’t facial liposuction reviews in this community, so I’m unsure,, and I couldn’t find reviews from people who had chin fat grafting.. Still, it was a clinic that felt safe. But anyway, I don’t know anyone around me who went there, and the post I read before going felt a bit broker-ish, so I’m debating this together with No. 2!
4. ㅂㅌㄹㅇ I went because it was mentioned a lot on apps and here too, but they said the director I wanted wasn’t available and connected me with another director. (But that doctor is still on the website, so I was like huh..) The doctor was very young, so I looked at them with a bit of bias, but they were the type who understood things immediately and handled them cleanly. They pointed things out clearly, reflected my needs right away, and didn’t push anything. There weren’t many reviews for this director, and it’s been about 4 years..? since they became a specialist, so I passed.. (Am I too career-experience-oriented..) I thought they understood my needs the best, so I debated a lot.
5. ㅌㅌ Opened independently from clinic No. 4 The director didn’t explain in huge detail, but there were many reviews and they were gentle-spoken. The issue is that they said they make holes beside the mouth corners too, so for me, with skin that scars easily, I felt a bit reluctant.. No CCTV, so I passed
Honestly, except for No. 5, I’m still considering all of them, but I think I may choose between 2 and 3! What does everyone think..!
