I had double eyelid surgery several years ago. I had consultations with the head doctor and another doctor with relatively few reviews and fewer years of experience, and for personal reasons I received treatment from the newer doctor.
A few years later, the swelling has completely gone down and things have improved, but during the surgery they kept loosening the thread, so when I asked what they were doing, I was told the thread had gotten tangled. Then I was told it wasn’t that the thread was tangled, but that it had lifted because the swelling was too severe. They loosened the thread and operated again, and the area was so swollen that they put on a square Medifoam-like dressing. The eyelashes and eyelids were lifted, and even after removing the Medifoam, a square mark remained, and that mark lasted for several months ㅇ.ㅇ I just lived with it thinking the swelling would eventually go down. I’m not sure whether there was no follow-up or whether they just didn’t do much about it.
