I had my first nose surgery 6 years ago with silicone and ear cartilage, but after about 1 to 2 years, a step-off developed, so I ended up removing the siliconeAfter that, I also had an autologous dermis graft, but over time it was absorbed and my nose started to look crooked, so this time I looked into revision rhinoplasty with the feeling that it would really be the last one.The bridge getting lower was disappointing, but what stressed me the most was that my nose looked long overall and the middle part looked pinched.During the consultation, I explained the entire previous surgery process from the beginning.I said that rather than simply raising the bridge again, I wanted to address both the crooked-looking part and the nose that looked too long, and I also wanted the pinched-looking middle part to look natural.Because I had a history of previous surgery, I was advised to go with rib cartilage and proceeded that way.It is only 2 weeks now, so there is still swelling and it is not the finished look yet.Still, when I looked after removing the splint, it felt less like my nose was crooked to one side like before, and the bridge that had looked low seemed to have regained its center, so my first impression was different.Especially the part in the middle of the nose that looked pinched now connects more smoothly than before, so I already like that part quite a lot even at this early stage.Because this is a revision surgery, this time I was far more worried than excitedIt is still only 2 weeks, so I will have to see how the long nose and overall line settle, but so far the parts that kept bothering me in my old nose seem to be loosening up little by little, so I am waiting and watching.
