While worrying about functional nose surgery and looking into several hospitals, I had surgery at The New by Director Jung Taeyoung. During the consultation, I showed him the nose shape I wanted, and he did not give a long explanation; instead, he clearly told me the limits of what could be achieved with my nose, which made me trust him even more. After the surgery, I was also worried about swelling, but as time passed I could see it becoming more natural, so I was satisfied. In particular, I like that the nose shape did not look overly done and suited my face well. My nasal bridge was low and my nose was short, but by raising the bridge with silicone and lifting the tip well with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, I got a higher bridge and my facial features also feel more balanced, and the nasolabial angle improved compared to before. They also created the straight line + rounded tip look I wanted! The hospital also explained things well whenever I had questions during recovery. They say you should watch the nose for about one year, but for now I think I’m glad I had the surgery and I’m satisfied overall.
