I had full hand and arm laser hair removal done at 2 to 3 week intervals. I received 5 sessions, and during the doctor’s consultation they said 5 sessions would make it clean, but it wasn’t enough. My hair is naturally thick, but I’m disappointed that they said 5 sessions would be enough without checking properly. Also, it seemed like the hair removal appointments just rotated through whoever had time that day, and over the 5 sessions I think I was treated by 3 doctors total: one male doctor and two female doctors. But each person had a different style and different level of thoroughness. I thought laser hair removal was basically all the same, but there really are doctors who do it carefully and take longer I also regret not asking for more treatment when they seemed to be skipping over areas like the shoulders and fingers. After 5 sessions the hair is definitely thinner, but I think I need about 3 more sessions for it to be perfectly removed.
