Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review after visiting a total of 7 clinics!

Overall, my nose is low and the nasal tip is on the blunt side!

1. ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ It was the first clinic I went to, so I went without knowing anything. It was nice that they explained things in detail, but maybe because it was my first consultation, I didn’t feel particularly drawn to it.

>Silicone + septal cartilage/ear cartilage materials; they said I had a slight hump and wide nasal bones, so osteotomy

2. ㅇㅇㅂ The clinic was huge and there were a lot of people, so the wait was long. But compared with my expectations, it felt disappointing. I wanted a natural look, but they recommended 4-5 mm silicone, and because my septal cartilage was small, they recommended costal cartilage. Costal cartilage for a first surgery felt like too much.

>Silicone + costal cartilage + septal cartilage/They also said there was a hump and the nasal bones were wide

3. ㄷㄷㅇ It was a private clinic, and they also checked my rhinitis. They said it was allergic rhinitis. Since the previous clinic had recommended costal cartilage, I asked about it, and they said it could be done with septal cartilage, but here too they recommended 4.5 mm silicone.

>Silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage/They said my nose isn’t large, so the nasal bridge doesn’t need to be shaved down

4. ㅂㅌㅇ The clinic I was most curious about and had high expectations for! I went after seeing reviews on a plastic surgery app. The consultation wasn’t bad, but I wondered, is this really the best option? When I told them I felt burdened by the high silicone and costal cartilage recommended at previous clinics, they recommended 3.5 mm silicone / I didn’t feel that there was anything particularly special, but the estimate was higher than I expected, so I was flustered.

>Silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage

5. ㅊㅇ Since the previous clinics didn’t seem like places that specialized in a very natural style, I looked for a place that aimed for no implant as much as possible + a natural look. They charged a consultation fee, but they didn’t take a CT, so I wondered about that. Before I even mentioned what worried me about nose surgery, they brought it up first, so I felt I could trust them.

>Postauricular fascia or silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage

6. ㄹㅂㄹ A place I went to with high expectations. The doctor’s explanation was the most professional and easiest to understand, but they recommended costal cartilage.

>Costal cartilage + silicone (honestly, from the moment costal cartilage came up, I stopped focusing)

7. ㅊㄷㅊ I chose it thinking about rhinitis because the doctor is an ENT specialist, but I only had a cosmetic surgery consultation. The price was the most reasonable, but the consultant felt like she was pushing the same-day booking event too hard, so I rushed out.

>Silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage

Overall review I don’t want to use costal cartilage for my first surgery, but if septal cartilage is used, I’m worried because mine is smallㅜㅜ I wonder if it would still be okay to use septal cartilage in this kind of caseㅜㅜ Clinic 5 appeals to me the most because it’s implant-free, but they say postauricular fascia gets absorbed a lot, so I’m worried about that too..ㅜㅜ

The more clinics I visit, the more complicated it seems to get, sob sob
